Chickpeas are packed full of fibre, protein and potassium and make for a delicious and healthy addition to your child’s diet!
This is perfect to use as a tasty dip with veggie sticks, as a spread in sandwiches or wraps or even to replace tomato sauce on pizza!

Top Tip! This freezes excellently so a great one to batch make at the weekend and freeze indiviual portions. Then just remove a portion from the freezer a few hours before you need it!

- 1 tin of chickpeas – drain & rinse these but keep the liquid.
- 1 tsp well stirred tahini
- 1 clove of crushed garlic
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 2.5 tbsp of olive oil – extra virgin if you have it
