I live in Waterford, Ireland with my husband Bill and my two children Luca & Tilda. I love good food and I love to cook so when we had our children I imagined I would cook all my own baby food, but I very quickly discovered that it can be very difficult to prepare homemade meals each day while juggling all that life throws at you.
I found it very frustrating and near to impossible to find a healthy alternative to home cooking when I needed it during those busy days. All I could find was heavily processed, long shelf life pouches and jars which didn’t look or taste anything like the baby food I was cooking at home, and so the idea for Pipin Pear was born.
Pipin Pear is a chilled range with a short shelf life and is the next best thing to homemade. The range is gently cooked using 100% organic ingredients and contains no added salt, sugar or additives. Our dishes cater for little ones from 6 months up to three years and introduces essential textures and exciting ingredients for each stage.
The reaction from customers has been fantastic with many parents relieved to finally find a convenient and guilt free natural range for their little one for those days when they are out and about or simply do not have the time to batch cook. Parents can now pick up Pipin Pear in the dairy fridge in their local supermarket and our pots can even be popped into the freezer – so handy!
