Looking to introduce salmon into your little ones diet? Why not try this delicious Salmon and Broccoli Mash – sure to go down a treat!
You Will Need
- 100g chopped shallots
 - 220g potatoes
 - 280ml water
 - 150g salmon
 - 100g broccoli
 - 30g baby spinach
 - 70ml milk
 - 20g parmesan cheese
 - Good squeeze of fresh lemon
 - A little oil or butter
 
Method
- Pop your oil/butter into a saucepan and then add your potatoes and shallots and quickly fry for a few minutes. Add in your 280ml of water and let simmer for about 10 minutes with the lid on the saucepan.
 - Add in your broccoli and salmon and cover again for another 10 minutes. Wait until all the vegetables are soft and cooked through.
 - In the last few minutes, add in your spinach.
 - Add in your cheese and milk and give a good mix. Leave on heat for additional 2-3 minutes.
 - Once everything is cooked, remove from heat. For older little one’s, simply use a potato masher to mash it into small chunks. For younger little one’s, pop into a blender and blitz to their preferred consistency.
