“Rían’s first taste was sunshine orange and he had it for two days then I moved to vegetables. I’ve introduced mixed veg and meats now. I introduced Pipin Pear from about week 2 and he absolutely loved it. He loves his food and is a great eater. He hasn’t refused any foods yet. Banana blue hands down is his favourite. He loves it on its own or in porridge in the morning. Sometimes for a treat I mix it with a lyga biscuit for a dessert. I think he loves the different flavours and I love his big purple face when he’s munching. “
“Rían’s is my second baby. His sister is 2. If I said the transition to two was easy I would be lying. It was very hard having a newborn baby while having a 20 month old aswell. Mum guilt drove me insane but thankfully after a few months we definitively found our feet. We still have days when I really wish I had more arms but I think that is every parent. “
“He hasn’t turned his nose up at anything really apart from broccoli he isn’t a fan but I try to mask it in with other favours and he’s all good then.”
“When I’m at work or when I’ve run out of my own batch cooking! “
“We don’t have any funny stories yet apart from he is known to smack the spoon out of your hand while feeding out of pure excitement covering the walls which his sister find utterly comical. “
“Sweet potato is his favourite thing at the minute. So I batch it and then add it to family dinners like Bolognese. He loves bolognese so it’s handy to add the sweet potato to it rather than give him any pasta. I would say out of the meals I prepare Bolognese is his favourite “
