Pipin Pear win Gold , Silver and Bronze at the 2019 Blas na hEireann National Irish Food Awards
We are so excited to announce our amazing win at this year’s Blas na hEireann National Irish Food Awards. This is our sixth consecutive year winning at Blas and we’re thrilled to have scooped Gold for our ‘Banana Blue’ , Silver for our brand new ‘Creamy Chicken Peas & Pasta’ and Bronze for our ‘Superstar Pasta’.

The Blas na hEireann awards celebrate the best of Irish food and drink and with 140 food and drink categories it is no wonder this is the biggest competition for quality Irish produce on the island of Ireland. The 2019 competition saw 2500 entries hoping to win gold, silver or bronze at the ceremony in Dingle. Fellow Waterford companies Carter’s Chocolate Café, Veronica’s Cafe, Irish Gourmet Butter, Blackwater Distillery, Legacy Irish Cider, Tastefully Yours, Tea & Coffe Warehouse and The Pure Food Company also picked up awards for their fantastic produce
We feel we have truly proved our superb quality and taste as we faced tough competition from other brands in the category. “We are so incredibly proud of our range and winning this award is very special to us. We have grown a lot since our first Blas na hEireann awards ceremony in 2014, our range is now available in all leading supermarkets across Ireland and we will also begin exporting into Europe early next year”.
