Quinoa is a nutritious, gluten free grain packed with fibre, iron and calcium and it makes a great addition to any baby food puree.
This recipe is incredibly simple and your little one will love it! We recommend this recipe for 6 – 8 month olds and it makes for a perfect breakfast option.
Ingredients:
- 350g quinoa (cooked as per instructions on pack)
- 350g washed strawberries
- 350g washed blueberries
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon (optional)
Method:
Simply combine the cooked quinoa, berries and cinnamon and blend until you have reached the desired consistency. If the texture is too thick, add cooled boiled water, breast milk or formula.
