“He’s 2 weeks into weaning now I’m blown away by his appetite and how much he loves it! His first taste was baby rice and breast milk whilst on holidays in New York. He gets annoyed when I won’t give him my sandwiches! Banana blue is the most animated I’ve ever seen him out of all of his first tastes!”

Tell Us About Your Journey Into Motherhood

“Oh jaysus what a question! Well I’m 31 (genuinely had to think hard about what age I am there!) and work for Barnardos children’s bereavement service as a support worker supporting families through bereavements and trauma but currently on maternity leave. I’m also in college studying psychotherapy and counselling. Sebastian and Sophia are 22 months apart and despite my worries they adore each other! Sophia loves to sing and hug Sebastian and he loves it when she sneezes because that’s hysterical apparently! Both are a big fan of doling poonamis at the most inappropriate times!“

“He grabbed his sisters banana pancakes clean off her plate and showed it into his mouth leading to a wailing Sophia and him trying to shove it all in at once!”

“So far he loves cauliflower and baby rice but for the whole family it has got to be banana pancakes and Greek yoghurt with strawberries, everyone is guaranteed to clean the plate!”
