“Her first tastes were purées at 5 months. This consisted of homemade purées of beetroot, blueberries, raspberries, carrots etc. She loved the change from bottles. We took it so slowly and offered her changes to more varied foods at 6months and introduced some finger foods. Today she is 8 months and we have quite a bit of varied foods in her diet. We do offer her some alternatives like Pipin Pear so we can offer her excellent pre made options and also can help us out! I am delighted with how she has taken to food . She refused carrots for some reason but eventually we got there!“
“Being a mammy had its struggles at the beginning but we seem to have gotten into a good groove now! No two days are the same as I’m not setting the routine Sadhbh is. What makes it easier is she has taken to food so we’ll and she’s not struggling with it. “
“Peaches for some reason she won’t eat them! I have to blend them into dishes to get them in!”
“When Sadhbh is visiting friends or family or when I’ve run out of my own batch cooking. We took it to a night away this summer in Clare! We wanted food that would travel well. The hotel ensured we had a fridge and microwave in the room and we were able to heat it up and feed her in the comfort of our hotel room. It made the trip so easy and convenient “
“When we started finger foods this was an experience for both Sadhbh and us! Boiled eggs she loves to throw all over the place I found it behind the door, in her clothes and hair. I wasn’t sure I’d ever brave the boiled egg again!“
“I made her butternut squash risotto and she loves it and I enjoyed making it for her!”
