“Daisy’s very first taste of food was actually a little bit of banana whilst we were on holiday in Florida, just before she turned 6 months. She didn’t know what it was or what to make of it but she soon found her love for food! There are a few things she’s not keen on but overall she’s taken really well to weaning. She has no problem with lumps or finger foods as we’ve given both from day one. Daisy loves the Mamia Caribbean Chicken! I think it’s the flavour of the spices she loves.. to be honest I like it myself! “
“All I’ve ever wanted was to be a mummy! From a very young age I loved playing with my baby dolls, looking after them and insisting I push them around town in their prams, much to my mother’s delight! In my mid-twenties I was diagnosed with endometriosis and told that this could potentially affect my fertility. When we decided to start a family, after 6 months I was starting to get worried and then it happened! I’ll never forget the feeling when I saw those lines on the pregnancy test! I had a really rough pregnancy, suffering with pelvic girdle pain and severe antenatal depression but after a very straight forward (and very quick!) labour Daisy arrived into our lives and we couldn’t be happier. I feel incredibly lucky every day I get to be Daisy’s mum and I love watching her grow and learn and see her little personality developing.”
“Definitely eggs! I’ve tried cooking them every way and she just doesn’t like them!“
“When I want a night off or when Daisy is visiting friends or family. Sometimes for when I’ve just run out of my own batch cooking!”
“We gave Daisy jelly for the first time and it was so funny watching her trying to eat it! She couldn’t grab it properly as it was slipping through her fingers but she managed it! Needless to say it ended up EVERYWHERE!!“
“Pasta is always a big hit in this house and I also love making Daisy banana pancakes or eggy bread rolls.“
