Tell Us A Little Bit About Cara

“Weaning didn’t go so well with Cara. She was a very hungry baby she would feed every 3 hours. With the advice of our public health nurse we started weaning at 18 weeks. Well she hated food she would spit and cry and get very upset so we had a little break and tried again in 2 weeks. She took too food very very slowly but now she loves her grub eats anything and everything.”

Tell Us About Your Journey Into Motherhood

“I’m 29 and have 3 children. Chloe who is 8, Nathan 2 and Cara is 9 months. I was told after having treatment for endometriosis soon after Chloe was born that I might not be able to have anymore children. So of course after having Nathan and Cara we were over the moon and now our family is complete.”

Do You Have Any Funny Feeding Stories?

“My mom was babysitting one evening and was holding a jelly snake for Chloe while she got her shoes on, next minute she looked down and there was Cara sucking on the jelly!”

What’s Cara’s Least Favourite Food?!

“The only food Cara has turned her nose up at is cauliflower cheese!”

What’s Your Favourite Dish To Cook For Cara?

“I love to cook a big batch of vegetables soup with sweet potato, red pepper, onion and cauliflower and coconut milk. I blend up Cara’s before i add in any stock or salt for the rest of the family.”
