“Ollie was the smaller twin at birth at 4 pounds, but definietly the bigger personality! He watches everything intently and is very clever! A pure chancer! Theo is bigger (born at 4 pounds 10) okay so not…huge!! But very chilled and placid! As he crawls past, Ollie grabs onto him for a free spin! And Theo usually doesn’t mind! Ollie is definitely the boss in the house! I’ve been replaced!
Theo & Ollie are 9 months old and love exploring new tastes and textures! Banana & avocado a firm favourite. Recommended by their dietitian as they were quite underweight with just milk. We were advised to start weaning at 21 weeks and have never looked back!! They love my homemade nut butter (roast almonds for 12 mins on high heat & blitz in strong blender) on toast and most fruits & veggies! They seem to love sour tastes at the moment, lemons and limes whilst teething! They also love chewing on figs and prunes! Sweet and chewy!”

“I’m a neonatal intensive care nurse so by nature am so in love with teeny tiny babies. They have such amazing little personalities from the very start. Through motherhood I’m finding older babies SO much fun though & love seeing them explore & discover new things every day! They always make me laugh even though they destroy my house!!” “As a children’s nurse I can’t feed my babies any jar of baby food as mum guilt takes over…however Pip & Pear is in the fresh food section in the supermarket – I love how it’s guilt free as there’s no nasties in it and thus I’m happy in the the knowledge they’re getting good food without me cooking for them daily! We even took some Pip & Pear with us on holidays to Spain!”
Do You Have Any Funny Feeding Stories?
“When I’m not looking, and its always with messy dishes, one twin tends to pick up his other twins food and smear it on their hair and in their ears!! Then happily continues eating their own food whilst their poor brother is destroyed and hungry and usually upset!!! They now also pretend to be upset to get a treat!!! How quick they learn!!!”
What’s The Twins Least Favourite Food?!
“They wont eat their porridge or Weetabix unless its got lots of fruit on top! Sweet tooth like me!!”
When Do You Find Pip & Pear Comes In Handy For You?
“When I’m at work and when I’ve run out of my own batch cooking! Twins arn’t too fond of daddy’s cooking! Sorry dad!”
What’s Your Favourite Dish To Cook For Theo & Ollie?
“I tried meatballs and pasta last week and they loved it! Made a quick sauce with red yellow orange peppers, chopped tomatoes, and passata. Chilli and garlic and into oven low and slow for 4 hours. Was tender so they had no problem with the beef whereas usually they do and don’t tend to like mince! “
