“Our little Anna has grown strong and taken great steps in her first year with thanks to many regular happy & healthy Pipin Pear dinners. Fishy Dishy & Tutti Fruity Chicken Curry are two pots in particular that Anna has polished clean in record time. Anna LOVES to share meal time with Mom & Dad, and in a strange year where we’ve all regularly been asked to socially distance ourselves from others, home time and meal times have been fun and extra special. Anna was eager to join in with family meal times and started weaning as she approached 6 months. She took very quickly to most tastes and textures. Breakfasts consisted of porridge, with varied vegetable purees and blended meats for dinner. It wasn’t long until Anna was keen to self feed and baby led weaning became the new approach for us. Pipin Pear came in really handy on busy days when I hadn’t dinner organised. Anna always loves when Pipin Pear is on the dinner menu and ‘mmmmm’ is often heard on numerous occasions during mealtime. Anna also has fun licking and playing with the pots. “
“When we found out I was pregnant, there was great excitement. Both our families have a big love of children, and Anna’s cousins were counting down the days until her arrival. As a primary school teacher for over 10 years, I have always enjoyed being around children. Over the years I have also child minded for numerous families both here in Ireland and also in Australia. This experience prepared me somewhat for our new journey into parenthood (although nothing prepares you for the sleep deprivation!). Anna has been a pleasure in her first year and we look forward to many more full of fun and adventure.”
“Salmon is the one food that Anna is fussy with, and while she occasionally eats it, more often than not it slips with purposeful intent into her bib or onto the ground. “
“All the time! When I’m at work, when Anna is visiting friends or family, when I’ve run out of my own batch cooking or when I just want a night off! We also use it for trips! During the summer we all headed to Killarney for a family celebration. As I was off cooking duties, I stocked up on Pipin Pear meals for the couple of days. I wanted to continue the great progress Anna was making with her food and ensure she was getting healthy, nutritious and tasty meals. “
“Anna is a comedy to watch when eating a corn on the cob. She attacks it, like a dog to a bone, and doesn’t let go until the corn is totally harvested”
“I love cooking a sweet potato chicken curry, a meal which all the family love. There is peanut butter in this curry, which I think really adds to the flavour. If there is any left over, I will put it into lunch boxes in the freezer and they come in really handy for days when Anna is going to the childminder. As an after dinner treat, I also batch cook various healthy muffins and store them in the freezer as handy on the go snacks. “
