We are very proud of our Irish heritage and therefore we have ensured that our Beef, Chicken and Lamb are 100% Irish and Bord Bia approved and our fish is Bord Iascaigh Mhara approved. We love good honest food and so our delicious fruit and veg are also 100% certified organic!
In today’s fast paced lifestyle we have little amount of time to check every single item that enters our shopping basket, but it is very important to be aware of the hidden nasty ingredients that lurk in many processed supermarket items. In terms of sugar, WHO (World Health Organisation) recommends that the daily intake of free sugars should be no more than 6 teaspoons per day, and children under the age of two ideally should not consume any ‘free sugars’ at all. The term ‘free sugars‘ is the sugar that is added to food and can be found in food products such as fruit juices, cordials, yogurts, cereals, tinned soups and of course sweets, crisps, biscuits and other snacks.
