Celebrating Father’s Day at Pip & Pear

Father’s Day will take place this coming Sunday, June 16th! Here at Pip & Pear, we cannot wait to celebrate Fathers everywhere. It can be difficult to know how to celebrate, especially when you little ones aren’t old enough to talk. That got us thinking, what is the perfect Father’s day gift?

First Father’s Day

If it happens to be their first Father’s day, its a big occasion. Becoming a father, especially for the first time is something worth celebrating. He deserves a big pat on the back for his hard work and this is his day. We think personalised gifts are a great idea. How about getting out some paint and creating art with your little ones hands prints – even by this time next year those tiny hands will be but a memory. If you’re not feeling very artistic – you could always get a personalised vest for your little one to wear on the day.

Think Practical

Everyone loves some me time – especially after running around after little ones all day. How about a personalised box of chocolates and mug for him to enjoy his cuppa in? Not only is this great for the day itself but the mug will bring a smile to his face for months to come.

Be Present

Whilst token gifts are great, the most important thing is to spend some quality time together as a family and let the father know how much he’s appreciated. This doesn’t have to cost a penny, why not make brunch or dinner and enjoy each others company. Or how about doing a family activity of his choosing?
