How to make your own Dreamcatcher!

We’re back with another fun idea for reusing your old Pipin Pear pots! We love how magical dreamcatchers are and now your little one can make their very own!

This is perfect for little hands to help glue and stick however adult supervision is required for the use of a knife!

You Will Need:

  • A clean Pipin Pear pot & lid
  • PVA Glue
  • Glitter
  • Coloured ribbon
  • Feathers
  • Lots of stickers like stars or hearts!
  • Knife

  1. Wash out a Pipin Pear pot and remove the label.
  2. Ask an adult to make a small hole in the base of your pot with a knife.
  3. Tie a knot in the piece of ribbon and thread it through the hole from the inside to the outside of the pot. (the knot will be on the inside of the pot). This will be used to hang your dreamcatcher!
  4. Decorate the bottom of your pot with fun stickers!
  5. With PVA glue, coat the outside of the pot and then sprinkle with LOTS of glitter!
  6. Take 2 lengths of ribbon and tie a feather to each end.
  7. Arrange the ribbons across the lid of the pot. (See pic 6/7)
  8. Pop the lid in place to hold your ribbons securely!
  9. Now you can hang your Dreamcatcher in a window for all of your family and neighbours to admire your beautiful work of art!
